On 31 may, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation took part in the ceremony of wreath-laying flowers at the wall of memory of victims of political repression and totalitarism of the «ALJIR» memorial.

This event is aimed at preserving the memory of the tragic days and events of the 30-50-s of the twentieth century, the restoration of justice towards the victims of totalitarianism, the formation of patriotic education in the younger generation, the promotion of the Museum.

At the end of the ceremony, a tour of the Museum halls was held for the invited guests. Museum-memorial complex «ALJIR» visitors could familiarize with the Stalinist wagon, the monument “Arch of grief”, the memorable characters, the building of the Museum, the stele of “Tears”, sculptural composition “Despair and powerlessness” and “Struggle and hope” by barrack and Wall of memory.
